BREAKING: Security agents slap Odumeje, as Soludo Government demolishes prophet’s church+PHOTOS
Media reports say security officers have physically assaulted the General Overseer of Mountain of
Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry, Prophet Chukwuemeka
Ohanaemere otherwise known as Odumeje.
The security
agents, attached to the Anambra State Ministry of Environment reacted and pushed the preacher
around, slapping him in the process when he tried to stop them from
demolishing parts of his church.
The church,
located around Nwagene, Fegge Onitsha, is one of the numerous buildings the
Anambra State Government marked for demolition.
The state
governor, Professor Charles Soludo had in earlier broadcasts, informed Anambra
people that some buildings located by water channels will be demolished to
allow free flow of water across the cities.
It was gathered that the demolition exercise started on Thursday morning. In a video clip, Prophet Odumeje was seen asking the officials to spare his church when security personnel slapped him, and he was pushed to his vehicle. Another video also shows the church being brought down by a caterpillar.
