Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya (a.k.a. MC Oluomo), Chairman of Lagos State Parks and Garages, has denied directing the sale of stickers depicting All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Babade Sanwo-Olu to commercial bus operators and tricycle drivers.
He stated that anyone discovered with the stickers should be arrested. He described the conduct as another attempt to smear his reputation and diminish Tinubu and Sanwo-popularity. Olu's
Akinsanya stated, "Normally, I would have dismissed the film knowing that it was the product of naysayers, but given the election season, I am also aware of their malevolent objectives and the cheap political goal they intend to achieve with it.
"I am obligated, however, for the sake of accuracy to correct the record. I knew nothing about the aforementioned sticker, nor did I authorise its sale. I visited the scene of the incident in order to conduct a comprehensive investigation, but I was unable to locate the individual.
"We oppose anything that would impede the free flow of business or cause hardship for our people.
A video clip is currently circulating online that depicts a dispute between two individuals over a sticker.
